CloudVisit Telemedicine Evolves Its Services and Launches a High-Demand Telemedicine Mobile App for iOS and Android Devices

CloudVisit Telemedicine has launched its highly-anticipated HIPAA-compliant telemedicine mobile app. The mobile app—a simplified, portable version of CloudVisit’s current telemedicine platform—is compatible with iOS and Android devices. The CloudVisit mobile app features portable telemedicine sessions and appointment scheduling.

The mobile app is an extension of CloudVisit’s existing robust web-based telemedicine platform. The telemedicine mobile app is free for patients of providers using CloudVisit. With a secure login, patients can “visit” their doctors with a smartphone or tablet.

From the calendar tab within the CloudVisit mobile app, users can view provider profiles and request appointments. To schedule an appointment with a provider, patients select a time and simply tap “Schedule.” CloudVisit sends emails upon appointment confirmation. Patients can check appointment status through the mobile app at any time. Once an appointment has been confirmed, patients can begin telemedicine sessions.

CloudVisit mobile app is currently only available for patient login. The CloudVisit app for providers is in development, and will offer basic versions of the web platform’s current provider features.
